7:00pm |Tree Lighting & Holiday Celebration Stage Show

Join Mayor Buddy Dyer, local officials, and the channel 6 morning news team as we light up the city’s 72′ Christmas Tree and enjoy its first dancing lights show of the season.

This portion of our evening is broadcast live on Channel 6, so be patient with the schedule, things can change at any time!  We will get things lit up during the news: 7pm – 7:30pm

The city’s Christmas Tree has moved and evolved over the years and has found its home on Lake Eola’s Washington Plaza.  This tree is the largest in the state of Florida, even beating out all the trees on Disney property!

Enjoy and sing along as Encore! Cast Performing Arts takes over the stage with over a hundred singers and musicians.

From traditional Holiday tunes to sacred classics, this portion of the event is intended to really get you into the Holiday spirit.  We know you will know every word, so please don’t hesitate to sing along.

As the music shifts from traditional to sacred, a local celebrity guest will join us to narrate the Hanukkah and Christmas story along with local Pastor, Billy Brath.

The entire evening concludes appropriately with the singing of the Halleluiah Chorus, and if you hadn’t sprung into song yet, this classic will surely bring you to your feet and encourage your voice to ring out.  Practice it here!
